French government warns public about drug misuse

The French health ministry has launched a publicity campaign to encourage sensible use of medicines. The campaign, whose main message loosely translates as “Medicines, think about what you take!” will run from 2 to 24 March on national and local media.
Targeted at the general public, the campaign aims to raise awareness of the risks associated with misuse of drugs. Posters, distributed to doctors’ surgeries and pharmacies, outline some basic good practice when it comes to taking medication.
