WHO advises continued vigilance of swine flu: The World Health Organization’s H1N1 pandemic emergency committee unanimously agreed that “the period of most intense pandemic activity seems likely to have passed for many parts of the world.” The committee, made up of 15 external experts, stressed that national public health units should remain vigilant and continue to monitor the H1N1 virus.
