I simply wish to thank Dr Summerfield and the BMJ for his excellent
article highlighting the important issue of human rights abuses against
Palestinians. It is vital that humanitarian considerations outweigh
pressure from the pro-Israel lobby to suppress the facts that Dr
Summerfield writes about. The article raises the question, what can we do?
Surely it is time to urge our government to apply sanctions to Israel
until it respects by International Law and Human Rights.
