Army doctor who tried to resuscitate Iraqi man after soldier’s beating faces GMC hearing

The army doctor serving with 1st Battalion the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment (1QLR) in Basra in 2003, when civilian detainee Baha Mousa was beaten to death, faces charges of lying in witness statements and in evidence to the court martial and public inquiry at a six week General Medical Council hearing starting on 11 June.
