Re: Are prolific authors too much of a good thing?

Dr Saloheimo is correct and I am mortified! I should have written 24/40 (or, "over half of these", or some such) had published more than one publication per 10 working days in any single year. It is embarrassing to misquote one's own study, and especially for somebody who runs training in writing and publishing. It was certainly not intentional!

You can now read the full paper at https://peerj.com/articles/1154/
where I hope the findings are clear.

But whether it is 24 or 40, I still think it is worrying that people are listed as authors on articles at such a prolific rate.
