The British government’s Troubled Families Programme

The first paragraph of the online version of this Editorial by Adam Fletcher and colleagues contained an error (BMJ 2012;344:e3403, doi:10.1136/bmj.e3403). In the penultimate sentence the authors meant to say: “However, evidence for the effectiveness of family intervention projects is weak, being made up of small scale evaluations without randomised comparison groups [not “small scale evaluations without external comparison groups”].”
