William John Christopher Pearson (“Kit”) grew up in Castletownbere, on the wildly beautiful western coast of County Cork. During the second world war Kit served in the Royal Artillery and met his wife-to-be, WAAF officer Vivienne (“Bunny”) White from Kiltegan, County Wicklow.
Theirs was an outstandingly happy, lifelong marriage. In 1946 Felicity was born and Kit entered Trinity College Dublin Medical School. Christopher …
