OK, let's make something clear. I deplore all injustice and if
anything I am probably on the Palestinian side and think they should have
their own state and that the Israeli Government has been involved in some
deplorable acts as have the various factions in Palestine.
But it is a nonsense to say these deaths somehow are a statiscally
important (although individually a disaster) cause of mortality amongst
Palestinian children. Many deaths are due to the attitude of some of the
Palestinians towards their own community and the placing of politics above
life.
We should be defending the right to medical care for all no matter what
our political opinions.
