Rapid Response:

Inflammation and Parkinson Disease

Previous research indicate the possible involvement of immune
mechanism in the pathogenesis of Parkinson Disease. Inflammatory
mechanisms have also been postulated in Parkinson Disease. The NSAID
appear to be protective in animal models of PD. This clinical study
confirm that NSAID do not prevent the PD. This study showed us that there
is a strong need of further clinical trial to answer the controversy.
