Rx for Interstitial Cystitis

Interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome) is a common female problem that
sometimes responds remarkably well to simple measures, such as increased
fluids, avoidance of alcohol and caffeine, regular aerobic exercise, and warm
baths. It’s best to try these safe, commonsense measures before resorting to
drugs and surgery, both of which might complicate and aggravate the
symptomatology.
