Re: Re: Is there no place for integrity in academic medicine?

John Stone says, "Dr Aubrey Blumsohn, has long since ceased to work: unemployable for that very reason". However,in this feature article it is said [1],"A two day a week NHS job in pathology was salvaged for him at Sheffield, where he survives on tenuous fixed term contracts".Further, Blumsohn is quoted as saying[1],"I have spent the last 30 years conducting research into the cause, diagnosis, and treatment of osteoporosis, publishing around 295 papers. I am committed to continuing with medical research....,".Therefore,John Stone's said view does not seem to be compatible with the facts stated in Clare Dyer's article[1].
