Yes, it was a poor lapse on my part. However, I also regret the
unwillingness of the medical/scientific profession either to listen to
patients and their representatives, or to acknowledge that the evidence
for MMR safety is far from overwhelming. While professionals are prepared
to mock and dismisss parents over vaccination [1] they will neither hold
the moral high-ground or show faith in genuine scientific enquiry.

In short, they would be a whole lot more credible if they stopped
trying to bully people into silence.
