Re: NCEPOD report into acute kidney injury fails to recognise systematic failings in organisation of renal services

Dr Mousdale makes some excellent points concerning the provision of
renal replacement therapy. However, NCEPOD would add that two entire
chapters of the report were dedicated to the systematic failings in
organisation of renal services and the provision of renal replacement
therapy (RRT). We did show that a small number of patients died whilst
waiting for an appropriate bed and that some level 2/3 units could not
