Can quality and productivity improve in a financially poorer NHS?

I agree with these comments in that only a small proportion of the
published studies of improvement are clear as to the costs of the
intervention and the opportunity cost for participants. In our own efforts
to support teams and organisations setting out on an improvement project
we have recently strengthened our advice and support on how to capture
these data.
