Thanks for a nice editorial. A timely one and it shuld be circulated
to all Deans of medical schools.
In the recent days the medical students' teaching is revolving more around
the imaging investigations and the focus on history and physical
examination is nearly gone. we hear more about ultrasound and CT in the
rounds than the clinical signs and symptoms.
I sometime wonder whether it is better to make medical imaging trianing a
must for a few years for all physicians and surgeons as the art of
clinical diagnosis by symptms and signs is dying or dead.
