Rapid Response:

Gagging:To What Extent?

In the light of the rapid response from a group of Consultants attached to the relevant NHS Trust[1] and without having sight of the Compromise Agreement,it is difficult to say whether Mr Bousfield had suffered any great injustice. It is clear that his right to raise concerns with the Secretay of State and relevant regulatory bodies was never compromised, and moreover,he was handsomely rewarded(financially)upon severance of his employment. As for the threat of an injunction, it is entirely proper for one party to seek such legal remedy if the other indicates breaching the terms of an agreed contract.
