A discriminating judgement

Graeme Catto says in his letter that the GMC has powers to authorise
registration without fee in cases of emergency (in other words, if needed
to get the Government out of a hole.)

Can he explain to us why that provision does not also fall foul of
the Age Discrimination Act?

(Incidentally, it is interesting that he also claims to have no
competing interests!)
