GPs should use “premier” information sources when prescribing

Re: One book as a Resource

I was slightly alarmed by Dr Subhash's Response about Current Index
of Medical Sciences (CIMS) being published every FOUR months; as
treatments, medications etc. can change much more frequently than this.
In the Monthly Index of Medical Specialities, MIMS, it says that using old
copies ie older than one month can be considered dangerous - just because
the information changes so quickly.
Would it not be a "good idea" for the publishers of CIMS that Dr Subhash
mentions, to have it published on a more frequent basis, as it is obvious
from his response that doctors in his part of the world value it's
contents.
