Colostomy for faecal incontinence

This article summarised a lengthy guideline in a very abbreviated
form. We do indeed recommend consideration of a colostomy (and a variety
of other surgical options) for selected patients with faecal incontinence
that severely restricts lifestyle, where other measures have failed to
improve quality of life.
