Classrooms: Valuing Mental Health

I feel that even in the United Kingdom there is a shortage of people
interested and working in mental health. We need to do a better job of
educating the community especially our youth. Mental Health awareness
should start in the classroom. We also need to encourage medical students
to become more passionate and interested in specialities like psychiatry.
In this way the speciality can grow, be more valued and in so doing
facilitate research and development which will benefit not only this
country but also countries like those mentioned in your article.
