Using the internet to communicate with patients

This is a classic case of making life easier, quicker, less expensive
by using the internet to communicate. The issue as to spamming is a valid
one but would be negated be the use of patients if they have previously
registered at their general practice. This is what the mygeneralpractice
programme enables; helping doctors and patients communicate more
effectively to the benefit of the patient and the ever pressed GP;
(certainly in the UK).

It also allows for patients to respond to specific polls enabling a better
understanding of anything from treatment effectiveness to the way the
receptionist at the practice answers the phone. Have a look at: and look under services for
