An unfinished trip through uncertainties

Thanks, Alessandro

I was very touched by the letter of Alessandro Liberari, who I've
known for years. It was he who "pushed" me to go to Maastricht in 1995 to
participate to the exploratory meeting of the Cochrane Field in
"Rehabilitation and Related Therapies", and it was he who helped me in my
first approaches to the world of Evidence Based Medicine. I think that
his words support us in our daily work aiming to the affirmation of a
practice of the art more oriented to the patient's needs.
In a sort of way, I consider myself a "pupil" of Alessandro and I'm proud
of it.
