Doctors' Errors and Mistakes of Medicine: Must Health Care Deteriorate?

I enjoyed reading this review, but unfortunately ,it contains an
error. There is in fact very little similarity in organisation between
the Israeli and American medical systems (with the unfortunate exception
of the financing of long term institutional care for the elderly). The
Israeli health care framework is much more like the UK or Canadian models:
universal in scope, largely publically financed and publically
administered.

For further details of the Israeli system, I recommend the fine
monograph recently published by the European Observatory on Health Care
Systems (ref 1).

Yours sincerely ,
