Re: Overlooked--'Would Ethical Approval be required for this study in UK?
Not only were issues of privacy and consent neglected but the views of those being 'studied' are strangely completely absent.What were the quality measures used? Would individuals whose data was used, seemingly without their knowledge or consent, agree with them? Why no feedback regarding service users satisfaction - an opportunity to gain their perspective was missed.
