Surgery - Cheirourgia

Cheirourgia is in fact a Greek word. It comes from Cheir (hand) and
ergein (to work).
My Liddell and Scott's lexicon defines it as
"I. working by hand, practice of a handicraft or art.
II. a trade, business."
