Rapid Response:

complementary and alternative medicine

In the BMJ of 31.5.03 Minerva notes that "many argue that
conventional research methods just aren't suitable for complementary and
alternative medicine".

For "conventional" read "rational and scientific".

The alternative is irrational, unscientific mumbo jumbo.
