Rapid Response:

Referrals facilitator, GPs and voluntary sector

Editor - But Grant doesn't prove that a referral facilitator is
necessary. The trouble is that some voluntary mental health organisations
are shortlived - at least at the local level. In this urban general
practice, our index of such organisations frequently needs updating. I
suggest someone, perhaps the local community mental health team, takes on
the job of maintaining a web based index. This would help us all to use
the voluntary sector more efficiently, and cut out any intermediary.
