Cochrane Conference concurs

The conclusions in this paper that the effective maximum doses for
the inhaled steroids are often half that advocated are echoed in the
findings of the the Cochrane Airways group (1). Hopefully these findings
will encourage the use of more appropriate doses of inhaled steroids and
thus minimise side-effects and improve compliance.
