      Overall, for patients starting with medical therapy, PGA therapy was preferred over topical non-PGA therapy throughout the study period. This finding is in line with national guidelines for ophthalmologists26,27 and optometrists.28 However, optometrists favoured PGA therapy to a greater extent than ophthalmologists, especially in later study years.
