BMJ editor writes to Hunt over misuse of data
Time for authors of paper to write to health secretary over misuse of weekend mortality data?

Surely the answer to this difference in interpretation of Freemantle and colleagues’ paper is to ask Freemantle and colleagues to respond to Jeremy Hunt in a letter to The BMJ.1 2
It is easy for lay people, such as the health secretary, to misinterpret data in scientific papers, but part of the blame lies with the authors for not making their findings clearer …
