Frontline NHS staff will continue to be offered a covid vaccine as part of this year’s autumn programme despite the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) having recommended a more limited rollout.
The advisory committee has recommended that a covid vaccine should be offered to people over 65, residents of care homes for older people, and anyone aged over 6 months in a clinical risk group.12
