MMR uptake in England quadruples in 2024

The NHS in England has delivered four times as many measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines to 5 to 25 year olds in the first 12 weeks of 2024 (75 499) as it did in the same period in 2023 (18 433), the latest data show.1 When children under 5 are included, a total of 360 964 first and second doses of MMR have been given in England since the start of the year, up from 293 847 last year.
