Yemen conflict “spells disaster for civilians,” say aid agencies

Recent escalation of the conflict in Yemen is likely to worsen the humanitarian crisis in the country and could force aid groups to end their operations in the country, agencies have warned.
Several international aid groups had to stop working last week when the US and the UK began launching airstrikes on western Yemen in response to Houthi militants who are attacking commercial ships crossing the Red Sea.
