A recent edition of Minerva (BMJ 2023;383:p2761 doi:10.1136/bmj.p2761) reported that “A UK register of cardiac arrests that occurred during anaesthesia reports 881 cases over a 12 month period, giving an incidence of three arrests per 100 000 anaesthetics.” The correct statement should have been “three arrests in 10 000 anaesthetics.” The article has now been corrected.
