Labour pledges to introduce NHS league tables

The Labour Party will introduce NHS performance league tables if in government, to allow the public to see how local services were performing, the shadow health and social care secretary has pledged. In a speech to NHS Providers’ annual conference in Liverpool on 15 November, Wes Streeting said the party wanted greater transparency, to drive improvements in underperforming services.
