Leaders of four royal medical colleges in Wales have shared their personal experiences of sexual harassment during their careers, in an open letter urging the profession to “call it out.”1
The letter was penned by Olwen Williams, chair of the Welsh Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, Hilary Williams, vice president of the Royal College of Physicians for Wales, Rowena Christmas, chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners Cymru Wales, and Maria Atkins, vice president of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Wales.
