Weight loss drugs: Digital services will improve access, says NICE

Weight management services in England will be able to use four new digital platforms to help patients lose weight including with medication, says draft guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).1

Specialists will provide care virtually by using the Liva, Oviva, Roczen, or Second Nature platforms through an app or computer, which will be especially helpful for patients who have no local weight management services or are not willing or able to travel to clinics, clinicians told NICE.
