Junior doctors in England will go on strike for five days from 13 to 18 July, in what is believed to be the longest walkout in NHS history, the BMA has announced.
BMA Junior Doctors Committee co-chairs Robert Laurenson and Vivek Trivedi said in the week since the last round of strikes neither Prime Minister Rishi Sunak nor Health Secretary Steve Barclay have contacted the BMA to reopen negotiations.
