BMA council member has suspension lifted while investigation continues

Junior doctor Kayode Oki had his suspension from the BMA council lifted on 2 May, after the association’s interim measures panel concluded that it was no longer required.
The suspension, which lasted 11 days, was prompted by a complaint, although the reason behind it has never been made clear.1 However, the action came after the Sun and the Mail Online ran articles about comments the foundation year 1 doctor had made on social media relating to race, racism, and white supremacy.
