Some ways to curtail Air Pollution...Re: Doctors have a role in tackling air pollution: here’s how some are rising to the challenge

Dear Editor,
These may appear turning the clock back, but these may be really effective ways to curtail Air Pollution.
* Walk whenever possible,
* Share vehicle whenever possible,
* Take public transport whenever possible,
* Use small, fuel efficient cars, avoiding luxury cars,
* Do not travel except for inevitable and only for work and not recreation, by air, waterways or road
* Give up smoking,
* Curtail use of electricity as much as possible, because at the point of electricity generation some or other mechanism is likely to cause air pollution, this will also include using TV, washing machine, airconditioners, and avoiding nightlife amongst other things.
Should not be impossible if not difficult.
