Consultants in England to be balloted on industrial action next month

The BMA will launch a consultative ballot of consultants in England next month, to see whether industrial action over pay and the pensions crisis could be on the table. Though the ballot won’t be legally binding, the results will be used to determine whether a statutory ballot on strike action should go ahead.
