NHS estate is in dire condition and harming patient care, BMA report warns

Crumbling and outdated buildings in need of repair and modernisation are hindering doctors from providing safe, quality care to patients, according to a BMA report.1
The report, based on research and feedback from doctors, details the findings from a survey of almost 500 BMA members. Some 38% of respondents said that the condition of their workplace is poor or very poor, while 43% said that the condition of their workplace has a negative impact on patient care.
