Ebola: Uganda plans trials of two vaccines as cases rise

Ugandan officials are set to start trials of two vaccines against Ebola virus disease in an attempt to halt further spread of the infection.
Up to 26 October the country had confirmed 109 cases of the disease, with 30 deaths. The outbreak was declared on 20 September in the central district of Mubende, from where it has spread to seven other districts, leading to lockdowns in two of the most affected districts, Mubende and Kassanda.
