A new artificial intelligence tool can detect heart disease at record speed and could even help reduce the NHS backlog, says the British Heart Foundation, which funded the research. A study published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance found that the tool analysed cardiovascular magnetic resonance image (MRI) scans more precisely than three clinicians.1
