A GP who dismissed another doctor’s complaint about him as “just a vindictive pile of female crap” and refused to engage with investigations by NHS England and the General Medical Council has been struck off the UK medical register.
Robert Keane, who qualified in 1985, was a partner in a Norwich practice for 18 years before moving to locum work in 2016. In May 2018, a month after he worked for one day at Lakenheath Surgery in Suffolk, a GP partner there submitted a complaint to NHS England concerning his record keeping and interaction with two patients.
