Health inequality: “Women’s health ambassador” will help deliver strategy to close gender gap in England

The views of over 100 000 women and 400 organisations will help to set an agenda to improve the health of women and their experiences in the NHS in England, the government has said.1

The consultation, launched in March, that generated the views has highlighted problems entrenched in a healthcare system that often fails to keep women safe and to listen to them.
