Adverts for cosmetic surgery that target under 18s will be banned from 25 May 2022, the regulator has announced.
The new rules from the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) cover both surgical and non-surgical interventions such as breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, blepharoplasty, injectable fillers such as Botox, chemical peels, and non-ablative laser treatments.1
