Robert Dossetor

Robert Dossetor attended St John’s School, Leatherhead, with an open scholarship and then went to St John’s College, Oxford.

He specialised in neuroradiology and was one of two neuroradiologists based in Brighton. On retirement he continued to work up until illness made this impossible, specialising then in ultrasound and doing locum work at East Surrey and Crawley hospitals.

Robert married Helen, who was from Greece, in 1968. He was fluent in Greek and very knowledgeable about Greek culture. Visitors to his home would usually have Greek food expertly prepared by Helen. He had a second home in Thessaloniki. Robert was an expert in many things, especially the music of Schubert and the films of Alfred Hitchcock.

He leaves his wife, Helen, and two children.
