In this practice pointer on care of men with BRCA variants (doi:10.1136/bmj.n2376; https://www.bmj.com/content/375/bmj.n2376), the introduction has been changed to read “We refer to men but this article may also apply to some transgender and non-binary people: their risk profiles and recommended care should be appropriately individualised.”

This change was made to include the range of patients to whom the article might apply.

Also in this article, the legends to figures 1(a) and 1(b) have been changed to make clear that in figure 1(b) “Risk of female and male breast cancer associated with cancer-predisposing BRCA variants” the cumulative cancer risks are shown on different scales.
