Although the authors are relatively correct in their "dashboards" approach, I fail to see how that will have much impact on the end of the pandemic. They maintain the pandemic will end when society decides to resume normal life. I think it already has. The millions of people demonstrating on all corners of the world, clearly tell us that they are more than ready to resume normal life. It is governments, public health agencies, and other vested interests that keep the pandemic going. The question is then, how societies will manage these other forces and not the "dashboards."
